Jeffrey Mark Dennis, 61, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023.

He was born July 20, 1961, in West Covina, California, to Richard and Dolores Dennis.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Gale Dennis; brother, Marty and Pat (wife) Dennis; sister, Christy and Bill (husband) Henderly; daughter, Dawn and Keith (husband) Bosic; son, Jordan Dennis; stepchildren D. Ann Liggett, Shane, and Victoria Anderson; daughter-in-law, Sasha Turner; grandchildren Jonathan and Andrea Dennis and Andrew Maras; niece, Alyssa Gagnon; nephews, Jarrod Gagnon, Aaron and Cory Dennis; and aunt and uncle, Virginia and Ronald Wilson.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dolores Dennis; and brothers, Steve and Don Dennis.

Jeff lived in California, Oregon, and Ohio until moving to Maine in 2004. He was employed at Fisher Engineering from 2004-2021 when he retired. He started as a fabricator and worked his way up to being a supervisor. Jeff was promoted again to the business unit lead in the V-plows department, a position he maintained until he retired. Jeff was known for his hard work, dedication, and expertise. He made many important contributions in his field and left a lasting impact on those who worked with him.

In his free time, Jeff enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and 4-wheeling. He enjoyed looking for new trails to go riding with friends and family. One of his favorite memories was 4-wheeling with his little dog, Killer.

Jeff loved animals. He took in many stray cats and adopted several dogs from shelters, where he would often volunteer. He liked to help with the animals and walk the dogs.

Jeff lived a full and meaningful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

His legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will live on through his family and countless lives he touched throughout his life.

As per Jeff's wishes there will be no services. A celebration of life will Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023, at Liberty Community Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations go to local animal shelters.
