Justin A. Burling, 42, of Sandusky, went with the Lord peacefully in his sleep Friday, July 7, 2023.
Justin was born June 9, 1981, in Bucyrus. He was a 2000 graduate of Sandusky High School where he sang with the Acapella Choir and later attended Bowling Green State University, both on main campus and at Firelands. Justin worked at a variety of jobs during his lifetime and was an avid bass fisherman. Justin also very much enjoyed Sprint Car racing and frequented the Fremont Speedway. He loved his mini Dachshund and companion, Precious. Justin was never married and had no children, but was loved by many.
Justin is survived by his father, David A. Burling of Sandusky; and paternal grandmother, Joann Rigg of Mansfield. He leaves behind many friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta (Aldrich) Burling; two stillborn brothers, Derek and Andrew; and grandfather, Delbert Rigg of Mansfield.
A celebration of life service will be at Father's Heart Family Church with the date to be announced.
Memorial contributions may be made to Father's Heart Family Church in Justin's honor, 2211 Mills Street, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.

I'll never forget when we first met in Junior Achievement. You were one of the first people to talk to me there and brought me out of my shell. We clicked and hit it off as friends. Over the years you were always there with the best advice and a ready smile or a hug if needed. In turn hugs were given and ears lent when you needed as well. You were one in a million and will be truly missed my friend. Fly high.
