Kathy A. "Bean" (Coffey) Maschari, 72 of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 8, 2026, at her home.
She was born in Sandusky, a lifelong resident, and a 1972 graduate of Perkins High School. Kathy was employed by Cedar Fair and retired from the company. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and a life member of AMVETS Post 17 Auxiliary.
Kathy was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved to travel and spend time with all her family. She was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to watching her grandkids. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed.
She is survived by David A. (Zook) Maschari; daughter, Kam (Craig) Mesenburg; son, Bryon (Dianna) Maschari; seven grandchildren, Bailey, Davin, Maverick, Kavery, Robert, Kristofer, and Faith; sister, Bobbie Cantelli; brothers, Ron (Lori) Rickenbaugh, Steve Rickenbaugh, and Scott (Flo) Rickenbaugh; special cousin, Deb Ferguson, and many very special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Claudine Rickenbaugh and Rodger Coffey.
At Kathy's request, cremation has taken place. Family and friends may visit from 3 p.m. until a prayer service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
