Paul D. "Pete" Maschari, 66, of Berlin Heights, passed away early Saturday afternoon, January 19, 2025, with his family at his side.

Born December 7, 1958, in Sandusky, the son of Paul and Jeanne (Oswald) Maschari. He was a 1977 graduate of Sandusky High School. Pete was the 4th generation owner and operator of Maschari Bros, "Finest in Fruits and Vegetables," until his retirement in 2020.

Over the years, he loved spending time with his family, golfing, vacationing in Florida, listening to music, and watching his Cleveland sports teams and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Pete is survived by his wife of 14 years, Luanne Maschari; his three sons, Peter (Rachael) Maschari of Amherst, Aaron (Kassandra) Maschari of Berlin Heights and Seth Maschari of Nashville, Tennessee; his stepchildren, Lucas (Taylor) Koelsch and Alyssa (Devin) Janssen; his grandchildren, Joseph, Andrew, Kaili, Ignazio, and Luciano Maschari, Cohen Koelsch, Kaden and Charlotte Janssen; his two sisters, Linda Genesi and Jane (Bill) Gosser; his nieces, nephews and cousins; and his lifelong friends, the Henry Brothers and Tom Payne.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a lifelong friend, Danny Schwab.

It was his wish to be cremated. Private family services are to take place.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to SouthernCare Hospice, 9501 US Hwy 250 N. Suite 2, Milan, OH 44846, Cancer Services of Erie County, 505 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870, or one's local high school music program.
