Sandusky
Kelvin Durr, 61, Sandusky, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 23 2025, surrounded by family. Kelvin was born April 27, 1964, in Sandusky, to the late Mrs. Stella Brown.
At an early age, he attended New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, where he accepted the Lord Jesus as his savior and was baptized by Pastor Eddy Henry. He attended Sandusky High School and later received his GED.
He enjoyed cooking, dancing, and listening to music. He was known for his warm heart, rapping songs, and unwavering dedication to his family. He was a die-hard fan of any Ohio sports teams, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memory his uncle, Benjamin (Nancy) Miller of Chicago, Illinois; his children, Saprina (James) Hayes, Diamond Durr, Sandusky and Destiny Knight, Columbus. His siblings, Kim Clayton of Memphis, Tennessee, Stacey McGaha of Clarksville, Tennessee, Terri (Jerome Shine) Durr of Sandusky and Brandon (Julianne) Durr of Fremont; his granddaughters, Nevaeh Richardson, Araiha Richardson and DaNaya Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lillie McCormick.
Private family services will be at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
