Mary Stella (Manning) Blatnik, 81, residing in Bayview, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at home.
Mary was born July 8, 1943, in Sandusky to the late Walter and Virginia (Crawford) Manning.
Mary was employed and retired from New Departure for 33 years. Mary was a member of the UAW and American Legion Post 83. In her spare time, she enjoyed trips to Amish Country and her weekends at MEGA Nights, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved cats.
Mary is survived by her children, Stella Miller, Nancy Carico-Abele, Fred Hagy and Selena Frias; grandchildren, Ashley (fiance, Greg Braden) Walton, Angela Rodriguez, Brandy Griffin, Jennifer Spurlock and Robert Walton; great-grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, John & Sophia. She is also survived by her besties, Shirley Carpenter and Judi Curtis; and many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her daughter, Cristy Walton; grandchild, Isabella Gonzalez; and her three siblings.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
