The family of Ronald Dean "Deno" Wilson Sr., 66, sadly announce his peaceful passing Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023, at his home in Castalia.
He was born Aug. 11, 1956, in Sandusky, to J. Duthen and Kathryn (Winters) Wilson.
Ron was a family man. He married the love of his life, Tammy, on Feb. 4, 1983, and together, they raised five kids. He was a truck driver for 25 years and then worked at Delphi and KBI.
His biggest passion in life was his family and providing the absolute best life he could for them. Most of his gray hair came from his love for the Cleveland Browns and he loved watching The Ohio State Buckeyes. Ron touched many hearts and he was loved and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Walton) Wilson; kids, Ron Wilson Jr., Brian Wilson, Heather Wilson, Cherie (Luis) Guevara, and Daryl Wilson; grandchildren, Ron III, Timothy, Brian Jr., Jacob, Bryson, Peyton, Kayliana, Adriana, Isaiah, Louis, Tyler, Austin, Marissa, Zach, Brandon, Destiny, Derek, and Dylan; seven great-grandchildren; and special brother-in-law, Allen "Lou" Walton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gary, Richard, Daryl, Jay "Skeeter," and Jack; and sisters, Cheryl, Beverly, Shirley, and Sherry.
Visitation for friends will be 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
